“My Spiritual Life is Getting Nowhere!”

Jesus described such as servant as a blind, leading the blind! (Luke 6:39) What good is my service to God, if I cannot seek my own salvation? It is even hypocrisy to teach what we do not do.

X  (Mat 16:26 NKJV) For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?

Saint Paul himself drilled himself in spiritual exercises, even after leading thousands to Christ. Should I be less careful than he was? He described spiritual life as a dangerous battle, requiring attentiveness:

X  (1 Cor 9:27 NKJV) But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.

X  (Eph 6:11-12 NKJV) Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
