Try to tell someone
that he or she is bad and needs to change. What do you think will happen?
The sinner who
becomes righteous, is a miracle beyond
human power. It is Godís grace alone.
Yet, we are His tools
by which He exercises His grace of changing evil hearts to good ones. A good
tool produces good results and vice versa.
(Matt 12:34-35 NKJV)
34 For out of the abundance of the heart
the mouth speaks. 35 A good man out
of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man
out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.
(Titus 1:7-9 NKJV)
7 For a bishop (or servant) must be
blameless, as a steward of God, not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not
given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, 8
but hospitable, a lover of what is good, sober-minded, just, holy,
self-controlled, 9 holding fast the
faithful word as he has been taught, that he may be able, by sound doctrine,
both to exhort and convict those who contradict.
What kind of tool are you?
