Why Do We Teach Children

1.    Parents are the first representation of God: Just as every human needs God, so does each child need two parents.

X  (Gen 1:27 NKJV)  So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

X  (Psa 27:10 NKJV)  When my father and my mother forsake me, Then the Lord will take care of me.

2.    Children are our gift from God: Each new birth is a re-echo of the creation of mankind. In it God reminds us of His Holy image.

3.    Children are open to God: Creativity and imagination characterize the first eight years of childhood. This is when children are highly susceptible to belief in God.

4.    Jesus placed a high value in children: He accepted them and embraced them as they are.

In Matthew 18:1-10, Jesus taught His disciples four lessons about little children. What are they?
